Im glad Its sunday!
I hope you can see this cause I cant!!!!! Well it is thundering out and I hope it rains some cause it is hot here.........
We are leaving on Tthen I was at work uesday to go to Michigan to see Phyllis and John Gilber before we go to chicago for our daughters wedding on the 14th.
I had to take my gold shoes back to Dillards cause I was getting ready to pack them and they were full of glue!!!!!. Thank goodness they had a different pair......
Then I went into the Mac cosmetic store to get some eye shadow. and the guy was a jerk that was selling the makeup. Sat me in a chair to try on some colors and never came back. I got pissed and he lost the sale.
tThen I went to work and my first pt I registered was a stupid drunk that was 56 and his level was 356 and he punched me in the abdomen near my feveral hernia with his foot. the nurses were trying to retrain him and I was in his line of fire. I didnt move fast enough for him and he blew!!!!! So now I am very sore and had to fill out an incedent report.....
Talk on Im going to sleep if I can.

Boy, your experience sounds like a scene out of "ER". You need to be careful of your hernia.

We had a low-keyed night at wor****il the end. The site we get the graphics from was down right at deadline (or near it). All of the papers need the major league baseball graphic, but we had to wait until it was emailed to us.
Today the Monroe paper gets printed on the press in Shreveport. Ought to be interesting if we have problems getting things out like we did tonight.
Well, not much else going on. I'm going to bed. Have a good day.

Had a pretty good day on Saturday. No dizziness at all. B/P is a little low, but that is not unusual for me. Got laundry done and then too tired to go to worship. I wanted to be in bed by 10:30PM. It's 11:20PM now. So goodnight or good morning; which ever is appropriate. Hope to sleep in a little. Will check back in later. Mag

Carla have a wonderful time at the wedding.
It's just 3am Washington time but I've had my 5hours sleep and looks like I'm awake to stay. I'm anxious to get on the road to my daughter's. Mike will be coming home tomorrow and I'll stay over for the week while our son in law is out of town. On Thursday we start our little ocean camping trip. Sure hope the weather stays nice.
My ankle is better tho it still hurts a lot. I hate this heavy boot but it is a lot better than crutches. I'ave taken small amounts of Aleve for the inflammation with a stomach coater beforehahand. That, icing and wrapping help a lot.
I'll have my laptop with me so I'll talk you all later.

I did some more packing on Saturday. I also had a good walk with Utley.
Sunday, I would normally head to church. But, my older son is in town, and I am going to meet him to take a walk, with my Utley. After that, my son is heading to a Phillies game, without me.
That's okay, I went to one without him. Only thing is, I was sitting behind the foul pole, and got soaked in the rain, and watched them lose.
Then, this afternoon, I will be watching said Phillies game, and then tonight, I will hit an AA meeting.
Oh, I did not get to my OA meeting yesterday. I got tangled up at the laundromat.

Sorry about the Er incident -- take care and if your tummy hurts worse, you'd better get checked out...
Tell Phyllis and Jon hi for me too -- I talk with Phyl on FB once in a while.
Oh how I wish I could get in the shower, but with this boot on 24/7 it's not possible. He said that they had some kind of a surgical cover to put over it -- probably cost $50!! (or more). If I didn't live alone, I'd try plastic bags, but so afraid of falling.
Not much on the agenda today -- was going to do a pork tenderloin in the crock pot, but just checked it and it's still frozen...been in the frig for 1 1/2 days.
So will go to plan B -- thaw out some shrimp and have a nice salad.
Got to church last evening thanks to my friend/driver Norma. Was good to be among ppl!

Carla sorry about that drunk in the ER. Can you file assault charges against him? I would. My Dad was an Alcoholic but fortunately was not aggressive when drunk. I have a friends who's daughter has been in jail three times this year for assaulting police officiers when stopped for DUI. Sad story and she needs a lot of help. That's why I admire people like Monica and the other ladies who take responsibility for their actions and steps to prevent relapse.
Today is the last day of my old life. Tomorrow is the day for my surgery. Vertigo has steadily improved with the medication that they gave me. It only happens when I laying flat on a bed and that's a safe place to get dizzy especially in a hospital bed. So at this point I'm planning on going to Bangor this afternoon. My cousin and I will stay in a hotel at the hospital.
I'm first on the schedule tomorrow so hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll be sleeved and on the road to loosing weight permanently.
So everyone have a great day and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
